Clicks Dog Training, LLC provides private, in-home puppy and dog training within 20 miles of Loveland, Ohio (greater Cincinnati area). Michelle Smith, owner and lead trainer of Clicks Dog Training, specializes in helping families build strong, positive relationships with their dogs using science-based, reward-focused training. With a background that includes five years of marine mammal training and 15 years in corporate Human Resources and Communications, Michelle brings a rare combination of animal behavior expertise and people-centered teaching skills to her work with dogs and their guardians. Michelle is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP). She uses positive reinforcement methods that are effective, humane, and proven by behavioral science. Clicks Dog Training does not use choke chains, prong collars, or electronic collars. Michelle holds a B.A. in Biology, an M.S. in Public Relations, and a Master’s Certificate in Creativity and Change Leadership. She is also a Fear Free Certified Dog Trainer Professional and a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC).
