I have been the Toledo Petco Dog Trainer for 7 years. I am an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. I have worked as a volunteer with Airedale Terrier Rescue and have a good understanding of the Terrier Breed. Petco’s classes are all positive reinforcement based. Our class sizes are small with a great deal of individual attention. We offer: Puppy Classes Adult Dog Level 1 and 2 Canine Good Citizen Classes We offer seminars such as: Housebreaking Kid Safety around Dogs. I have always been a dog lover. I currently have a Pomeranian and an Aussie Doodle. I have fostered two Labrador Retriever puppies that have become service dogs. My Aussie Doodle was supposed to be a service dog, but she has fear issues and flunked out of the program. We adopted her and she is my work in progress I currently do private lessons in people’s homes and pet sitting. I have taken over the classes that my mentor trainer was doing. I teach puppy class, basic obedience and an advanced class for people interested in getting their Canine Good Citizen. I have become a Canine Good Citizen evaluator. I am also a Family Paws educator for families that are expecting or have small children. This teaches families how to safely live with their four legged and two legged children safely together.

John’s focus is on leadership, general obedience, and problem-solving. Private and group lessons are offered. Group lessons are taught at Rover Come Over Doggy Daycare including puppy classes and four levels of adult classes. All classes are drop-in and advance at your own pace.
