Angelica M Olmos is a certified Dog Trainer and Animal Behavior Consultant. She operates SkyPaws! Animal Behavior and Training located in Carrollton, Texas. SkyPaws! offers in-person consultations and training to pet parents of the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex and virtual consultations and training to pet parents nationwide. In addition to earning her Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) certification, Angelica is also a graduate of the Fear Free Shelters and Fear Free Veterinary programs, and is a proud Supporting Member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC). When not taking clients with SkyPaws! She is working heavily in the Animal Welfare setting with high risk behavior cases. Angelica assesses pets for adoption placement and educates adoption clients, shelter staff and volunteers on safe animal handling and Ethology. Angelica primarily receives canine clients and their parents but is also available to take feline clients of any age. Consultations and training are available for subjects such as: leash pulling, jumping, impulse control, new home acclimation, litterbox issues, enrichment, separation anxiety, confidence building and more.

I just graduated from the ABC course for certified dog trainers. I am the President and Founder of Basset Rescue Across Texas, Inc. in Dallas, TX. I will be assisting and training our adopters and foster families in teaching the basics to their basset hounds. I plan on teaching group classes and working with adopters and fosters in their homes. Since many in our organization have other breeds, not just Bassets, this course was extremely beneficial to me as a certified trainer.
