I am an applied animal behaviorist and founder of GoFidoGoodFido, a training and behavior consulting firm in Chicago since 2008. My philosophy is simple: I will not hurt your animal or teach you how to! I take a holistic approach in everything I do, which means, I consider the dynamics of all the learners in the household, especially the human animal and use my knowledge and expertise to find ways to resolve behavioral issues; most importantly I’ll show you how to prevent the issues in the first place. Today, more than ever, we have access to a seemingly unlimited amount of information. Unfortunately, there are no guardrails, to protect pet guardians from some of the unethical practices in this unregulated industry. My job is to educate you, so you can better understand your companion animal, thereby helping your animal thrive, not just survive. There’s so much more to learn beyond just teaching your dog or cat manners; these sentient beings are family and I will guide you from whichever developmental phase your pet is in, be it meeting the needs of a young exuberant animal through the changing and challenging needs of a senior pet.
