About

Jocelyn is currently working as a clinical behaviorist and LVT at the Veterinary & Rehabilitation Center of Cape Elizabeth in the greater Portland ME area. She also has extensive lecturing experience; please contact her for info on speaking engagements, educational pieces, or consultations. From 2016-2025, she worked as a Clinical Behaviorist at the MSPCA-Angell in Boston, MA. In her role, she saw clients and their cats and dogs for behavior consults, taught dog obedience classes, kitten socialization & training classes, and assisted with behavior problems in shelter animals. Jocelyn earned her BA from Connecticut College in 1997 where she studied environmental science and zoology. She earned her vet tech certification and spent many years working as a vet tech in different areas of the veterinary field, including Critical Care, Emergency and Specialty Services. Working in this field cultivated her interest in companion animal behavior, and in 2015, Jocelyn earned her MS in Companion Animal Behavior Analysis and Counseling from the American College of Applied Science. She is a certified and licensed veterinary technician (in MA & Maine) and additionally she is credentialed as a certified dog behavior consultant through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.
