ADTAbout
As a lifelong dog lover, after college I decided to pursue a career in dog training. Since 2018 I have work in a number of shelters and dog day cares in New York City. I joined an apprenticeship program run by one of Ian Dunbar's students, Amanda Gagnon, which helped to cultivate my skills and knowledge as a dog trainer. After completing the apprenticeship I began working as a member of her team. I operate in Manhattan and Northwestern Queens, offering private training and group classes. My focus is teaching basic manners and working on behavior modification in an urban setting utilizing positive reinforcement techniques. In addition to my accreditation through the IAABC, I hold the title of Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. On top of that, I am a Fear Free Certified Professional. I have also completed Michael Shikashio's Aggression in Dogs Master Course.
